It comes down to three things: the size of the band, how long you want them playing, and how far they're travelling. Which is why you'll get a real itemised number instead of a "from" price that tells you nothing useful. Run a quote on any act and the whole thing is broken down, travel and reservation fee included, before you decide anything.
The lever most couples never think to pull is how long the band is actually on for. Two forty-five minute sets is the standard shape of a wedding band's evening, and stretching that costs money, but so does the silence if your licence runs an hour past their last song. Sorting that out at the quote stage is a good deal cheaper than sorting it out at eleven o'clock on the night. Every booking is contracted and the paperwork is handled for you. You get direct access to your band once the booking is confirmed. Your balance sits in a ring-fenced client account and only goes to the band once they've confirmed in writing that they're on their way to your venue. You've got fourteen days after your reservation fee to change your mind and get it back in full. And if a band is ever physically unable to perform, we'll put alternatives in front of you, the final say is yours, and your balance comes back in full if you'd rather not go ahead.
