WOW the Rays…. We booked them to do our 30th Wedding Anniversary/ Wedding Renewal Celebration Party that in truth got as big as a Wedding Jonny and Joanne, The Rays were awesome in terms of communication in advance and accommodating our song requests. On the night itself they just knew how to read the room and get people on the dance floor at the right times. The comments throughout the night, the next day and the weeks after were so positive about the Rays It’s a big thing trusting a band to make your day special, The Rays done that and more for us. Absolutely fantastic entertainment at my dad’s 70th birthday party! Their singing was beautiful and they were both incredibly talented, professional and engaging, and really helped make the celebration extra special. We had so many compliments from our guests about how much they enjoyed the music. I would highly recommend them for any special occasion, they were brilliant from start to finish!

The Rays were absolutely fantastic and helped make our wedding reception unforgettable. From our first dance to the last dance of the night, they kept the dance floor full and created an incredible atmosphere throughout the evening. Their performance was energetic, professional and enjoyed by all guests of all ages. Highly recommended.

We had some great communication with Jonny in the lead up to the wedding, discussing song choices, first dance etc and that set us at ease beforehand. They played a great set-list, ideal for the guests ages and had us up dancing from the start until the big finale at midnight. Absolutely perfect for our group size and venue. And they were very, very good - a talented duo!

What a brilliant night last night for my husband's 60th. The Rays were fantastic, great range of songs to suit all ages, read the room and got the dance floor in full swing. Heard the Rays first at my nephew's wedding at the Fenwick Hotel, can honestly say they were absolutely brilliant, so up to date and mastered every song they sang, they were amazing.

We had The Rays play at our wedding on Saturday the 9th of July and all I can say is what an amazing band they are. My dance floor was full all night from the very start. Our guests have been raving on about them since, and even the staff at The Radstone Hotel said it was one of the best wedding nights they had in their hotel. The bar staff were even dancing behind the bar. It was just outstanding. I highly recommend this band. Enough said—I will be booking these guys anytime I have an event. Best night of my life.

The Rays played at our wedding at the Cruin in October 2022 and we have been left with the most amazing memories of our evening reception thanks to them. They went above and beyond to make sure me and my husband, and all of our guests enjoyed the evening. Their version of our first dance song was perfect and they even did a few ceilidh dances during the evening which was very much appreciated. Can't thank them enough and wish we could do it all over again! X

I highly recommend the Rays as a band for any event. We hired them for our wedding and they were the best band I have heard in a long time. We were getting non-stop compliments about how good they were, how good their song choice was and how friendly they were. The dance floor was never empty and they totally made the night. The Rays were absolutely fantastic at our wedding on 15th October! From start to finish, they had people up on the dance floor and so many people commented on how talented they were. From singing our first dance song to teaching the ceilidh dances to finishing with Loch Lomond, I couldn't have asked for a better band! Would not hesitate to recommend them to others in the future.
