Stirlingshire sits about as conveniently as a wedding county can, which is good news and bad news for anyone trying to book a band. It's within easy reach of both Glasgow and Edinburgh, so guests travel without much complaining and bands do the same. The flip side is that the good venues here get booked early and the bands that fill them go the same way.
Our acts play Gean House, Broomhall Castle and Culcreuch Castle regularly, along with plenty of places in and around Stirling, Bridge of Allan and out towards the Trossachs. There's a fair chance we can tell you how your venue sounds, where the band will end up setting up, and whether there's a noise limiter to work around. That last one catches people out. Plenty of Stirlingshire wedding venues have a limiter fitted and they vary enormously in how tightly they're set, so it's worth asking before you book rather than after, because it changes which acts are a sensible choice.
What it costs, and why we show you the real number
A "from" figure is no use to anybody planning a budget. You'll get a full itemised quote instead, with the band's fee, travel and the reservation fee all broken out, so the number in front of you is the number you'd actually pay on the day.
Two things push a quote up more than people expect. One is a Saturday in June, July or August, because that's when demand is highest and the good acts have options. The other is a late finish, since an extra hour is an extra hour whichever way you cut it. Neither is a reason to change your plans, but both are worth knowing before you start comparing numbers and wondering why one band looks dearer than another.
Our commission is charged to the band, not added to your quote, so booking through Coast costs you exactly what booking the act direct would. Every booking is contracted and the paperwork is handled for you. You get direct access to your band once the booking is confirmed. Your balance sits in a ring-fenced client account and only goes to the band once they've confirmed in writing that they're on their way to your venue. You've got fourteen days after your reservation fee to change your mind and get it back in full. And if a band is ever physically unable to perform, we'll put alternatives in front of you, the final say is yours, and your balance comes back in full if you'd rather not go ahead.
Checking availability
Every act on the site has an instant date and price check, so you'll know in seconds whether they're free on your date and what they'd cost. Their page carries full live video, the current setlist, and reviews written by couples who booked them.
Andy and Leigh started the business in 2009 after years of playing weddings themselves and it's still the two of them with a small team. Around seventy acts are on the books, most managed exclusively, and every one of them was watched and chosen by us. Give us a ring for a no-obligation chat.
