Most of the time we play from 8pm-12am with a 30minute break. We also offer a DJ Set if you want to add on an extra hour. 

We're happy to move the times around so long as it doesn't exceed the 4 hour slot. 

So we could play from 7pm-11pm, or 7:30pm-11:30pm, if that suits your wedding better. It's not a problem to change the times at all.

We are fully self contained and have every thing we need in our van to set up and do the gig. All we need is the space to set up and some plugs to power the stage. Everything is included in the quote.

We take a 30 minute break, usually when the evening buffet goes out. We keep a playlist playing through our break though, so there's no awkward silences. 

Part of what we offer in our service is our ability to read a room and change up our set to best suit what will get everyone on the floor, as every audience is different every night, and what works for one wedding may not work at another. 

We usually say though that if there's any favourites from our repertoire that you definitely want to let us know and we'll be sure to play them. But we usually recommend no more than 10 as if we have too big a list to work from it can really tie our hands if the requests aren't getting people on to the dance floor. 

But if there's a few favourites, or a genre you particularly like, let us know and we can slant our set that way. 

We're happy to learn one song per wedding, so if we don't know your first dance already, we're happy to learn it for you. All we need is 3 weeks notice to learn a song. 

We always take requests on the night. We usually encourage it from the start of the night as it's a great way to get the crowd involved and give us a feel of what kind of set the audience is after that night. 

It keeps us on our toes too if we're getting requests we've not played in a while. We enjoy the challenge!

We offer an extra hours DJ Set if you want to take your night on until 1am. 

We can provide a half hour of ceilidh too for no additional cost. Just let us know you want it and we'll be sure to play it. 

The two comments we get the most after a wedding are that it felt more like a gig than a wedding band. We exist to offer people a genuine alternative to the cheesiness of wedding bands. We put our effort in to putting on a great performance for your guests rather than cheesy gimmicks. 

The other comment we get most often is people are always impressed with the range of songs we cover. We were once asked by someone if we could either play Steps or Metallica. We were able to play both. 

When it comes to being in a wedding band, we feel our personal taste doesn't really come in to it. We're there to play the songs you want to hear and we're happy to play pretty much anything if it will make your night better. 

Unfortunately for us, no one ever dances to Soundgarden at weddings (I know because I have tried), so our personal taste takes a back seat when we have people to get up on the floor. 

We can do a 30 minute, partially live Ceilidh. We have backing tracks with live drums over the top. 

We call all the dances and talk every through the whole process to make sure everyone knows what they're doing before we start the dance.
