How much time do you need for set up & sound check?
We allocate 1 hour to be safe but can do it within 45 minutes.
What are your standard performance times?
8pm till 12pm (with a break)
I'm not sure what my timings are going to be yet, is there any flexibility on the standard timings?
Absolutely, we’ll always do our best to be flexible.
How long do you take for your break? Are you able to play background music during this time?
We take a 30 minute break and this is normally around 9:30PM/10:00PM
Can I pick the songs that you'll play on the night?
We’re happy to chat through our set list with you and come and go with regards to song choices on the night, but we’ve loads of experience keeping dance floors packed – so ideally it’s best to leave it to us as much as possible 😊.
Will you learn our first dance if it's a song that you don't already know?
Yes absolutely, we’ll even learn a father/daughter dance for you too!
Can you take any requests on the night?
Yes definitely, we’re happy to take requests on the night – as long as we know it we’ll play it!
My venue has a 1am license, do you offer an extension to keep the night going until then?
Yes we’ve got a couple of brilliant options to keep the night going until 1am. You can book our DJ set, or our sax play also offers an Ibiza style set for the extra hour – just ask Coast for prices for these.
Do you offer any other add-on options?
If your venue doesn’t have a 1am license, you can still book our sax players Ibiza style set for during the bands normal set times – again just ask for a price for this.
Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?
Yes we bring all of our own equipment including PA and lighting, we’ll just need space to get set up and a power source.
What do you think your clients love most about your performances?
I would have to say our elite level musicianship, energy & interaction with the crowd (this is so important!)

Would have to be the king and queen of soul, Ottis Reading & Aretha Franklin!
Can you provide a ceilidh set? If so, could you give us more info about this - how long does it last, what instruments do you play, can you call the dances for our guests?
Yes we provide a 30 minute ceilidh set. using backing tracks.
What makes our ceilidh unique is the calling by our Australian female vocalist who attacks it like it was a Zumba class, and I have never once seen her fail to have the whole dance floor bouncing!
