Three Card Trick

It seems like yesterday that I walked through the doors of the Clutha Vaults pub in Glasgow and saw 3 scruffy young guys rocking everybody socks off...but actually it wasn't yesterday, it was 3 years ago. What a lucky night that was for us. That was the night we discovered Three Card Trick! Never in the history of our industry has a band went from zero to being widely established as one of the top bands in the industry in such a short space of time. These guys are adored by our clients a revered by their fellow musicians. Why is this? Firstly, in terms of musical talent, they are right at the top of the food chain. Genuinely 3 of the most gifted musicians in the country. In addition to this they are client focused businessmen who understand that the non performance side of things are equally as important as what you do on stage. They respond promptly to enquires, are friendly, professional and accommodating, use modern equipment and transport and are meticulous in every aspect of the booking process. They also have one of the deepest and most varied set lists in the business, including up to 1 hour of fully dance called Ceilidh. In the last 3 years they have played at over 300 weddings and are in demand by our corporate clients up and down the country. This band are still the standard bearer for our agency and an absolute credit to our industry. Over the 3 years they have worked for us we have never received a negative review about them and in fact have enough letters of gratitude from Brides and Grooms to wall paper the office here. They really are exceptional in every way and we couldn't recommend them more highly for your wedding or event.

Kenny & Stephanie, Wedding, April 2017

Hey guys, wanted to drop a note after you played my wedding back on Sat 15th April at Enterkine but only just getting to it now, sorry! You guys were awesome and went that extra mile playing with my baby nephew during the day time set and switching to acoustic at 11pm to help with the last minute noise restrictions at the venue. Thanks for being part of our day and sure we'll see you soon in 1 of Glasgow's haunts!!

Mr & Mrs Bancroft, Wedding, March 2017 Hi guys!

Just wanted to say how grateful we are that we booked you for our wedding day. Everyone hasn't stopped talking about our band and how amazing you were! You well and truly made our night one we will never forget. We knew we loved you guys but didn't anticipate how brilliant you would actually be.

I also can't believe that you managed to learn and play all our favourite songs and play to our crowd so well. People honestly haven't stopped talking about you guys (expect tons of new fans!) We thank you from the bottom of our hearts

P.S. Giving my age away here but Alan is already talking of booking you for my 30th in a couple of years time

Hi Gary
Sorry just getting a chance to get back to everyone now. Thank you so much for the bands performance at the wedding, you guys were outstanding & I have had so many comments from my guests about how good you guys were.
Sound was tremendous & the set list appealed to all guests across a wide age range. All the girls had sore feet the next day as they couldn't get off the dance floor!
Thanks again for really making the reception such a success.

Debbie Knowles & Greg Guthrie, Wedding Pittodrie House, Feb 2016

I just wanted to pass on my thanks for a brilliant night!

Three Card Trick played at our son and new daughter-in-law's wedding on Valentine's Day at Pittodrie House, Inverurie and they were brilliant.  They even went off during their break to run through a request (The Joker, Steve Miller Band) from my daughter - a song her brother (the groom) used to sing along to in the car when he was wee - and they were fab!

It was perfect, the mix was spot on and having the ceilidh dancing after everyone had loosened up was just great.

Everyone enjoyed the night, we had a ball, and it was all down to the band and the atmosphere they created.  So, please, please, pass on my thanks.

(PS apologies for my father-in-law wanting something he could do a foxtrot lol)

Thanks also to Coast Entertainments excellent service from start to finish.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Three Card Trick, and have done so on multiple occasions since our wedding in July.

I had several people commenting on how great the band were (even the next day), which you really don't hear that often at weddings.

As the bride, rightly or wrongly I spent the whole night on the dance floor!

They really instilled a party atmosphere and were a credit to the wedding.

Coast Entertainments were also very helpful from start to finish, they assisted in helping find a band to suit our requirements and making the process incredibly smooth and stress-free.

Jon and Jenny Potter - Wedding 23/7/15

Just want to say a massive thank you for taking care of our booking. We had asked for a live band to play at our wedding to take place in the Scottish Borders.

Coming up to that location from our home in Liverpool meant that we had to do all our organising and bookings through the Internet and email.

Through Coast Entertainment the process couldn't have been easier. We were able to see the bands on offer through their website and chose Three Card Trick for our big day.

Coast Entertainment kept in touch with us during the build up meaning I did not have to keep on chasing them around for information. If I ever had any questions my emails were quickly answered by the team.

The band on the night were fantastic!!! Three Card Trick wowed all of our guests and everyone has commented on how good they were. We couldn't be happier with our choice.

All in all the experience through your company was excellent and I would highly recommend you to anyone in future.

Many thanks again for all your help.

Scott and I loved their set and the dance floor was packed all night. They also sang happy birthday to me at midnight which was just lovely.

We definitely made the right choice booking them.

Brian and Gillian Robertson - Wedding 12/9/14

Hey guys, sorry that we haven't mailed you sooner. We can't thank you enough for all that you done throughout your set at our Wedding. You had every one Dancing and laughing all night. What a true talent you all are, it was amazing how you learned our first dance with such short notice, hearing you guys playing You & I, is a moment Gillian and I will treasure forever. I will also never here a better version of Caledonian ever.

Nothing was a bother for you, every request was not only met, it was smashed out the park. From my Aunty shouting Eurasia all night, My friend shouting Kaiser Chiefs and my daughter requesting Katy Perry, also you had my mother in law up dancing to acdc. The versatility in your range is unreal. Loved the fact you played your very own Sauchiehall Street too, Fantastic song.

Our families and friends have done nothing but compliment you since the wedding, and you truly did make it a night for all to remember. We could never recommend you guys enough, everyone's wedding is in safe hands if they have booked Three Card Trick. Thank you so much again, take care and we will see you guys in the future.

Rock on!!!!"

Ryan & Leigh Henderson - Wedding 16/8/14

Just to let you know that all went well with the wedding and both Leigh and I thought Three Card Trick were fantastic as our band.
Not one person had a bad word to say about them, most commenting that they were the best band they had heard at a wedding. They played all requests (including Biffy Clyro and Return of the Mac!) and although they had a long trek home; also obliged in playing on for an extra half an hour which was really appreciated and ensured the night finished on a high.
If you require me to fill out any official feedback forms please let me know and I will be happy to do so. With the positive feedback we are now hoping some of our guests book them for their upcoming weddings so we get a chance to hear them again!
Lastly if you can just pass on a big thank you to the guys for coming all the way up to our neck of the woods to perform at our big day and wish them all the best to them in the future.

Just wanted to say THANK YOU! Thanks for making our wedding on 28/03 a night to remember.

We knew you would be good but didn't realise just how good! Everyone was talking about the band the next day and still even now 4 weeks on. Your performance was outstanding, hairs standing up kinda stuff - your version of Johnny B. Good was without a doubt the best I've ever heard!!

I've never come across a wedding band or any other band for that matter who have such a big repertoire and who can take requests at the drop of a hat! All our guests had a ball thanks largely to you three.

Thanks also for taking on some out of the ordinary requests especially learning a new song for our first dance and putting in the words we wrote.

And of course for putting up with a load of drunken Irish folk!

We couldn't recommend three card trick enough to anyone getting married.

Thanks again

Everyone was so impressed with how talented you guys are and your ability to play song requests at the drop of a hat. The booking process, set up and clear up on the day was so professional. Hi guys, We had a fantastic day and received many complements about the band - in fact one of our guests is getting married on 16th July 2012 and were just going to go with the DJ their venue provided but after hearing you guys at our wedding have now booked you to play. Also before our wedding I had recommended to another of our guests to go along to your showcase and they have also booked the band for July next year. It was the best night ever and I don't think many wedding bands would've gotten away with singing Rage Against the Machine and the Hockie Cockie at a wedding but our guests loved it!  Thanks again for all your help in making our day such a success and everything we wanted it to be.

We are still on our honeymoon just now but everybody is still buzzing saying its the best wedding they have ever been at and i put most of the credit down to the band for that. Three Card Trick were fantastic and kept the dancefloor busy all night. i actually danced all night, im the only bride who announced if people wanted to talk to the bride they could get her on the dancefloor! the dj was also fantastic, i met him outside before he came in and told him the band had wowed everyone but im an rnb girl at heart and would love to here some, most of his hour was filled with the classics i love and had me and my girls on the floor non stop. the dance off was fab but i would like to point out that had i been wearing something a little less enormous i would have bet the boys without effort hehe. please thank the boys again for me, they made my wedding stand out from the rest which is more than i could have asked for. everyone commented on three card trick and the fact that they judged the crowd rather than sticking to a set list and pleased everyone! Thanks for all your help, youve been great.

Hi Gary, Carly & I just want to thank the band for the great music at our wedding on Friday. Everyone I've spoke with had a great night, think that was evident with the few casualties at the end of the night!  I don't remember seeing the dance floor empty all night, even “Killing in the Name Of” (by Rage Against The Machine) went down well.  Carly and I were saying we'll have to come and see you perform your own stuff too at some point. Cheers!

Hi Leigh,

Just to let you know we had a great day and Three Card Trick were amazing. Loads of people (of all ages!) told us how much they enjoyed the set. Ending the night on the hokey cokey was one of the funniest parts of the whole day and everyone was talking about it the next day at breakfast. Absolutely fantastic band and I would recommend them to everyone I know getting married.

Thanks for all the help with the booking process and I hope 2013 is a great year for you.
