How much time do you need for set up & sound check?
We’re often set up in as little as 30-45 minutes but always allow for a full hour, better safe than sorry.
What are your standard performance times?
8pm – 12am (with a half hour interval) are our standard playing times.
I'm not sure what my timings are going to be yet, is there any flexibility on the standard timings?
Yes we’re very flexible, if we can shuffle timings around to better suit your day – we will 😊.
How long do you take for your break? Are you able to play background music during this time?
We take 30 minutes and you can even choose your own playlist for this point if you wish.
Can I pick the songs that you'll play on the night?
We mix up our set on the night based on the vibe in the room and a focus on filling dancefloor, and then keeping it full! It’s best if you trust us to do this for you, as every wedding is different and having a set list set in stone really limits us in reacting to who’s in front of us.
Will you learn our first dance if it's a song that you don't already know?
Yes of course, it’s a huge part of your wedding day, just make sure we’ve got about 6 weeks notice and we’ll make sure it’s perfect for you.
Can you take any requests on the night?
Yes we love taking requests. If we don’t know a request but think we can do it justice, we’ll always give it a go! Failing that, we’ll make sure to include them in the playlist we put on during our break.
My venue has a 1am license, do you offer an extension to keep the night going until then?
Yes we offer a DJ set option if you want to keep your guest dancing until 1am. Like the break setlist, you can either leave it to us to pick the songs or you can let us know if you have your own playlist you’d like to hear.
Do you offer any other add-on options?
A 5 minute ‘Dad Joke’ Stand Up Routine… 😉
Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?
It is indeed.
What do you think your clients love most about your performances?
We aim to make every wedding that we perform at sound like a live gig or festival and our client reviews really testify to this! Our clients tell us regularly that we didn’t sound like any wedding band they’ve heard before.
Which artists are you most influenced by?
We are influenced by Rock, Pop, Indie, Funk, Electronic, Metal, Blues, Rock n Roll and ballads.
Can you provide a ceilidh set? If so, could you give us more info about this - how long does it last, what instruments do you play, can you call the dances for our guests?
We do! We usually do around 20mins which covers all the old favourites that people know.
We use a backing track for this and will call the dances for you to keep everyone right (although it’s always a good laugh when things go a little wrong!).
