How much time do you need for setup and soundcheck?
We need 1 hour to set up and complete sound check.
What are your standard performance times?
This very much varies depending on our clients needs but the most common timings would be 8pm till Midnight (with a break for evening buffet).
How flexible can you be if our timings aren't confirmed yet?
Yes, we are happy to be flexible on timings, however this must be agreed in advance and may incur an additional charge.
How long is your break, and do you play background music during it?
We normally take a 30 minute break in line with your evening buffet. As for background music, we can organise this for you or alternatively you can share a playlist with us.
Can we pick the songs you'll play on the night?
We like to think we have a well rounded set list, with an aim to have something for everyone. However if there are any songs you really want included or don’t, then please let us know.
Will you learn our first dance if you don't already know it?
Yes, we will learn and perform your first dance song. We have a few songs already within our repertoire that would be perfect for a first dance. However if you have something particular in mind, where possible we will endeavour to learn your choice. Alternatively we can always play the original recording (no offence taken if this is your preferred choice).
Can you take requests on the night?
We sure do! And if there is something you really want that we don’t currently have listed, please let us know and we can look at adding it in to our practice sessions as long as we have advance notice. Any request's that we are unable to fulfil can be added to the break playlist or DJ set (optional extra).
Can you keep the night going if our venue has a 1am licence?
We can continue playing for an additional 45 minutes from 12.15-1.00am (after a quick 15min break) or alternatively we offer a 1 hour DJ set. Both options would incur an additional fee.
What other add-on options do you offer?
We offer a few different add-on options. These include an acoustic daytime set (for during your drinks reception, ceilidh set, DJ set or an extended live set at the end of the night. With the except of ceilidh, these would incur an additional fee.
Is all the equipment, like PA and lighting, included in your quote?
We can provide our own PA & Lighting. We prefer to use our own equipment, however we have previously worked with in house PA systems, when necessary. Please make us aware if any of your guests have light sensitivity and we can make any necessary adjustments required.
What do your clients love most about your performances?
As a duo we like to have a little fun and show our quirky side, which ensures your guests will enjoy themselves and keep the dance floor filled. We often get comments on our mix of music ensuring that we have a little something for everyone performed with a mix of live guitar alongside male/female vocals.
Which artists are you most influenced by?
Our influences span a wide range of music, from Country to Rock all the way to some VERY cheesy pop!
A couple of Fiona's fav are: Fleetwood Mac, Lady Gaga, Blondie.

Can you provide a ceilidh set, how long does it last, and can you call the dances for our guests?
We can provide a ceilidh set! This we host for 20-30 minutes - approximately 3-5 songs is what we would recommend. This is a FREE optional extra that can be added to your booking.
For this we use tracks with traditional ceilidh instruments and dances will be called by Simon (Simon Says) to ensure everyone knows/can follow the steps. (5,6,7,8)
