Amazing, there are not enough stars or words to explain how great these guys made our wedding. What a band, just fantastic. Patients of saints trying to explain ceilidh dancing to a bunch of slightly tipsy Irish people. We laughed, we sang, we danced (badly) but we had the best day. The Invitations played at our wedding on the 6th of May and were absolutely incredible! We booked the guys at a wedding showcase last year when we actually went specifically to see another band but the invitations were so good we booked them instead! The decision was 100% the right one. The night itself was absolutely fantastic with the dance floor full from first song to last, with everybody having an absolutely amazing time! The range of songs is incredible and they kept everybody dancing all night. If you are looking for a wedding band it has to be The Invitations!

The Invitations played our wedding on be 7th of April this year and we can’t think of enough complimentary words to describe them. We had heard the band before, hence why we asked them to play our wedding, but when they played on the night, their set was next-level. Spanning the decades, flowing from song to song, I literally had no idea where the 4 hours went. They also played a ceilidh in the middle of the set!! 

I can safely say to anyone, please book The Invitations for any event. They will not let you down. The only downside is that my wife is still annoyed at me because I didn’t spend enough time with her as I didn’t get off the dance floor all night. The guitarist was ripping up all night. Hope to see them sometime in the future.

The Invitations played at our wedding on 17th March at Logie Country House and I cannot recommend them highly enough. 

The band learned not only our first dance, but the song for my dance with my Dad, which I know meant the world to both of us, as well as a number of other songs that mean so much to my husband and I.

Everyone was super friendly and kept our guests dancing the whole night long. We even had a few ceilidh songs too which was fantastic!

The Invitations are the crème de la crème of Wedding Bands. 

Getting married is stressful enough, getting married on Hogmanay add's a little more with everyone expecting the party of all parties. They did not disappoint.

Chris and the rest of the band were outstanding, making sure everyone had a night not to forget. Seamless in the run-up, making sure we any song requests were played, and if not on their repertoire, they learned them! WOW!  

Our night was perfect, they The Invitations had a huge part to play. Guests from all over the world who joined us, commented on their unbelievable talent and knack of filling the floor and playing the right songs to suit the mood at the point in the evening....and when it was time for the bells, they would give Jackie Bird a run for her money!!

If only we could do it all over again!

My husband and I went to see The Invitations at one of their showcase gigs and got good vibes from them right away. Their communication throughout, from booking up to our wedding day, was excellent. On our wedding night, they were a massive hit, with several of our guests saying they were the best wedding band they had ever seen! They kept the dance floor going all night long with a huge range of tracks that catered to all tastes. The way their songs flowed in to one another made it almost impossible to leave the dance floor :-)

The Invitations were our wedding band at Gilpin Lake House and we cannot recommend these guys enough. Professional from start to finish, excellent communications before and upon arrival. Chris was a huge help in putting together a play list and offered great ideas. No ludicrous demands and extremely respectful. 

All guests we spoke to were suitability impressed, along with my now father-in-law who was a professional musician in the 80s (sadly no major hits, so I cannot retire on his hard work) at how well they performed.
