Honestly cannot fault a thing about Velvet Noir, they really were unreal! We had Caledonia as our first dance and the male vocalist sounded just like Paolo Nutini! Chelsea's voice was incredible as usual! They had our guests up partying all night long and really kept everyone entertained all night. Where do I begin to write how amazing Velvet Noir are? I couldn't recommend them more as a wedding band. I have known Chelsea for years, having gone to school with her, and she has always been so talented, so I knew I wanted her to play at my wedding the minute I got engaged. I think I only had to show my husband one video of them before we instantly booked! We booked an acoustic set after our ceremony and then as our main entertainment at night. They were amazing. I would highly recommend Velvet Noir as they are waaayy beyond the talent of your usual wedding band. The whole band are just awesome! The whole band are just a fun friendly bunch. Whilst warming up/soundchecking, our two-year-old son and his three-year-old cousin decided to have a wee dance off. Rather than cutting the song short during sound check, they continued to play to allow the kids to dance and have fun, which made for some incredible videos, photos and memories. Velvet Noir learned our first dance song and played it perfectly. The setlist they played had everyone up dancing and the dance floor was full all night. During the ceilidh section of their set, they had everyone up and kept everyone right with the Scottish dances for those that didn't know them. Their musical talent is just awesome as a band, and the vocals from both singers is unreal. We still have guests talking about them and how much they loved the band. Velvet Noir were one of the first vendors we booked when we began wedding planning (after hearing Chelsea's voice - I mean wow!). They completely made our night and we had the best time with them. At no point throughout the night was the dance floor empty, the band were really able to cater to everyone's tastes. For days after the wedding guests were commenting on how amazing the band were. Our guests from Liverpool particularly loved the ceilidh dancing section of the band's set, everyone really got stuck in. Cannot explain to you how good this band are from the planning of set lists and first dance to smashing it on the night, they were so easy to communicate with and beyond amazing on our big day. I chose to have them sing acoustic during the day also and I was honestly so chuffed with the feedback from guests. We then had the band along with DJ set for the last hour and it was honestly the perfect setup. After an 18 month delay we finally got our wedding. A massive thank you to Chelsea and the guys for being so incredible! We were lucky enough to have Velvet Noir play at our wedding on 9th July and to say they were amazing is an understatement! Vocals were incredible and they had everyone dancing from start to finish! Communication was spot on from the minute we booked and all of our guests commented on how fantastic they were! As soon as I'd booked Velvet Noir I knew I'd made the right decision. Communication was so quick and nothing was too much hassle. Chelsea is the most incredible singer and the whole band were just amazing. All of our guests commented on how much atmosphere they created and the music was ace! They were so patient at letting my brother perform during our first dance and I'm so grateful they put up with my persistent Beyoncé requests. Wouldn't hesitate booking them for another event at all! Thank you so much for helping us have the best day ever.

Hi guys,  Hope you’re all well.  Apologies for the delay in getting in touch, we’re just back from our honeymoon.  Just a quick message to thank you all so so much for playing at our wedding at The Cruin on the 5th May. You were simply outstanding! From the first dance right through until Loch Lomond (and the encore after...!! ) the dance floor was full of smiling faces, who were all rockin’ their finest moves...some more interesting than others! Such a varied playlist that suited everyone. We keep watching back the videos of the night that you took - especially James “sit down”, which was hilarious, yet so special to watch back. We chose not to have a radiographer, but the clips that you took have helped us relive our big day. Thank you! I wanted to say a HUGE thank you to you, and the rest of the band, for playing at our wedding on Friday!  We had the best day ever!!! Our guests were thoroughly entertained by you guys and so many people commented on how brilliant you were – which Nick and I totally agree with! I first spoke to you when you were in the park with your family, then again at the Wicked Lounge in Glasgow and then by e-mail about our first dance… every interaction was friendly and relaxed and no request seemed to be too much – which is brilliant when you are a bride with one million things on  your mind!

Thank you so much, you were amazing! So many comments about how good you were! We had a great day and night with lots of dancing! Would highly recommend you guys to anyone! Thank you!
