Hi Adam, thanks again for last night your band were incredible and we’ve had so many people message us to say it’s one of the best wedding bands they’ve heard. You had the dance floor packed all night. Appreciate it man!

The band were amazing. They kept the vibe and beat of the reception up. Their idea for the ceilidh is something I would recommend everyone do. Adam also played for our ceremony and was wonderful. Him and his band helped make our day perfect and I could not have asked for a better band to compliment our day.

These guys are truly special, not just because they absolutely aced playing at my wedding a few days ago, but they went the extra mile. I asked them if I could do a first serenade instead of a first dance with them as a surprise to my wife, and Adam came and met me a few days before to rehearse and compile ideas while keeping the whole thing a secret on the day, and we all absolutely nailed it. Their Ceilidh was incredible, the majority of our guests were not Scottish so we were concerned, but the call outs kept everyone in line and we received so many compliments on their behalf. Their setlist was awesome, sound was awesome, and they're the nicest people. Book them now!

What can we say, they were simply fantastic. Before the wedding the band communicated well asking us what we wanted and didn't want played which was good. On the night the dance floor was full all night with the music they played, responding to requests and getting on brilliantly with our guests. The Upbeats were brilliant on our wedding day and a huge hit with our guests. Communication with them in the lead up to the wedding was brilliant and they went out of their way to learn songs that they knew our guests would like, as well as playing our first dance song in the style that we requested. We were looking for a wedding band that was a little bit different but whose set-list was still wide enough to appeal to guests of all ages, and The Upbeats more than filled the bill. They started strong by emailing us to thank us for our booking and to see if we had any questions; attention to detail that was later followed by asking us if we would like a particular first dance and advising us on the best choice when we found ourselves torn between three. In person, the guys came across as young, confident and clearly genuinely into their music. Their music had guests up dancing to every track. More than that, they had guests jumping up from their seats and positively running onto the dance floor at times, whether for their rendition of a Beatles classic or The Killers. By the time it came to the last few tracks of the night (the Proclaimers' 500 Miles followed by the Bonnie Banks O’Loch Lomond), we genuinely thought the dance floor might collapse, there were so many people up dancing without a care in the world. Testament to what nice guys The Upbeats are, one even came up to me discretely to explain that, as the bride, I didn’t need to queue for the wedding supper :D A really lovely bunch of guys who felt like a big part of the party. We’d happily recommend them to anyone looking for a young, current, music-loving wedding band.

I have now seen the upbeats a few times in Glasgow and they were fantastic, always a great atmosphere and fun. They play a good variety of music and I really enjoyed the gigs. If I were to get married I would without a doubt have them as my wedding band. Very highly recommended

You covered our wedding on the 1st of July 2016, very accommodating to our requests especially as we had a father/daughter mother/son dance. You played our music we provided and this was great. Amazing selection of songs to suit a range of ages and the ceilidh in the middle got everyone up dancing. Would highly recommend, 10/10 :)

We had a fantastic evening, open bar, marriage, friends and family, we got to rock out to some amazing songs. The dance floor was full all night. the guys were so flexible they even allowed us to play a couple songs. Which most bands don't allow. A great night had by all.

Had these guys play at our wedding last year and they were absolutely fantastic. Even 15 months later, we still have family and friends commenting on the fantastic atmosphere the band created for us. We had the upbeats play at our wedding at the inchyra grange. I have nothing but great things to say. They played a great variety of music and had everyone from my nieces and nephews to the oldies dancing. Everyone has commented on how good they were. They were great value for money and even offered to do a ceilidh set for us. Nothing was too much hassle and they didn't mind contacting them with song ideas prior to the wedding. After falling head over heels for The Upbeats wedding band whilst watching them perform at Malone's in Edinburgh, we immediately snapped them up to be our wedding band. They were absolutely fantastic! They are versatile, fun, talented and exceptionally accommodating; even to last minute ceilidh requests! The Upbeats played at our wedding in Dalduff Barn and they were fantastic! The band were a pleasure to deal with, nothing was too much hassle, even to the point that we only picked our first dance 2 days before the wedding.
