How much time do you need for set up & sound check?
We usually set up in about 1 hour and aim to be at your venue an hour and a half before we’re due to start.
We have invested in a superb Digital PA system with iPad controlled monitors for all the band, which greatly speeds up the set up and sound check.
What are your standard performance times?
Our standard performance times are 8pm to Midnight with a 30 minute break around 9.30pm/10.00pm.
I'm not sure what my timings are going to be yet, is there any flexibility on the standard timings?
We can provide quotes for earlier start times and later finish times to fit in with your schedule.
If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know, and we will work with you to adapt as required.
How long do you take for your break? Are you able to play background music during this time?
We take 30 minutes for the break and play background music on an iPad/iPhone. You are welcome to compile your own Spotify Playlist of some of your favourite tunes, or you can leave it for us to put on one of our pre-prepared playlists.
Can I pick the songs that you'll play on the night?
Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.
Normally, we recommend clients select the first song, the last few songs, and a short list of songs from our set that you definitely want us to play (or avoid!).
Will you learn our first dance if it's a song that you don't already know?
If a song isn't included in our song list it is possible that we already know it, given we have played at over 1000 weddings/events!
However if there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. It's always nice to see a couple dance to their favourite song!
Can you take any requests on the night?
It is usually better for us to be informed of specific song requests a few weeks before the wedding so that we can, if possible, build it into the set.
We have worked hard to craft a non-stop set of songs to keep the dance floor busy all night and try not to interrupt the flow.
If, however, a request does come up on the night from the client we will do our very best to accommodate it. We frequently surprise ourselves with the songs we know outside our published repertoire!!
My venue has a 1am license, do you offer an extension to keep the night going until then?
We can provide quotes for a later finish time to fit in with your schedule, either with our DJ set or an extension of the full band.
Do you offer any other add-on options?
Our standard line-up is as follows: Male & Female Vocals, Guitar, Keys, Drums and Sax. We also have a 7 piece option that includes Fiddle or occasionally we do play as a 5 piece to suit the venue size or budget.
If you are a big fan of the Saxophone sound, we can build in a section focused on our amazing Saxophone player!
We can provide a range of solo/duos and trios for the wedding service and/or drinks reception including Keyboards& Saxophone and Guitar/Vocals.
Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?
Yes, everything we need we bring.

We have 3 singer/song writers in the band and 6 musicians who have diverse tastes/experience playing across all the genres.
This allows us to cover anything from Paolo Nutini to Abba, Beyonce to Queen, Deacon Blue to Earth Wind&Fire, The Killers to Stevie Wonder, Blink 182 to The Foo Fighters, Ceilidh to Elvis/The Beatles, Jubel to Sinatra
Can you provide a ceilidh set? If so, could you give us more info about this - how long does it last, what instruments do you play, can you call the dances for our guests?
Yes! Absolutely!
We provide a fully live ceilidh with an excellent caller who talks through all the steps clearly, gets on the dance floor right amongst it, and makes it all fun!
We normally provide 30 minutes to 1 hour ceilidh, covering the following dances - Gay Gordons, Dashing White Sergeant, Strip the Willow, Canadian Barn Dance, St Bernards Waltz.
You can even book our 7 piece version of the band which includes a fiddler!
