Slinky were absolutely phenomenal at our wedding back in May, our dance floor was consistently full and everyone was raving about how good the band were. They listened to us in our pre wedding meeting exactly and we honestly couldn’t have asked for anything better, 10/10 recommendations to anyone!

As huge music lovers, one of the most important things for us when planning our wedding was finding a band that could play a set we would genuinely love, while also keeping our guests entertained and on the dance floor. Slinky absolutely delivered on both. They were fantastic from start to finish and were more than happy to play some of our favourite songs. They also learned our first dance with six weeks’ notice, which made the moment even more special. The setlist was the perfect mix for us and our guests, and not once was the dance floor empty all night. We received so many compliments about how brilliant the band were and the atmosphere they created. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Slinky to anyone looking for a talented, professional wedding band.

What a night! Slinky were absolutely amazing - people were up dancing the whole time and since our big day so many guests have been talking about how good the band was. Always professional and easy to communicate with, amazing setlist and range of music and absolutely delivered on the night! Honestly, we can't thank you enough!!

Thank you so much for performing at Bethan and Jordan's wedding at Meldrum House on Friday 23rd August. We had such a special day and night, and much of that was down to your performance. Apologies for the little miscommunication with getting started, but when we did get going, you were absolutely first class. You gauged the room very well and the dance floor was permanently busy. All our guests' feedback was how good you were, and we will definitely be recommending you to our network of family and friends.

It's hard to even describe how good this band is - the amount of talent that is within every single member is incredible. I lost count of how many guests told us that Slinky was the best band they'd ever seen at a wedding - and I wholeheartedly agree. The dancefloor was full the whole night, I honestly did not leave the dance floor once because every single song was so good. Their versatility was amazing - from Taylor Swift to Stevie Wonder, Beyoncé to Eminem they truly did it all - but not only that they did every single song justice (dare I say most songs even better than the original) and added their own flair by creating mashups and even had a talkbox! Our wedding was the best day of our lives, but I credit a huge chunk of that to Slinky because they genuinely brought so much fun to our evening. All I can say is please book - you won't regret it. Hi Duggy, We're just back from a week's honeymoon and still loving reliving our memories of last Saturday and our wedding. You guys were all absolutely awesome! So many super tunes, great musicianship and helping so many ceilidh novices through the steps! And of course for letting Pratik take the mic for some chaotic but fun Indian dancing. You really kept the dance floor full and so many guests commented on how brilliant you were. We even had someone say "we've never been sure about why people have a wedding band but with a band like this, I get it!" The evening was well-organised (have e-mailed a "well done" to Neil), and the music really topped it off. It really is good to hear live music. My favourite was Honky Tonk Women (showing my age maybe!) I'm not really a Michael Jackson fan, but would certainly "concede" Thriller is a classic, and Slinky did a great job of it. But ABC and, I think you also played Rockin' Robin, are maybe good pop songs but no more than that, yet when you guys played them they became brilliant, which I think is maybe the biggest compliment – turning a "decent" song into a "blow your mind" experience! Great band, great set list – thank you from all seven of us for a great night!

I just  wanted  to  thank  you  so  much  for  making  last  night  so  amazing.  As  you  know  we'd  only managed  to  see  your  wee  video  clip  before  booking  the  band  and  last  night  was  our  first  time  seeing  you  live  -  you  were  fantastic.  Everyone  commented  on  how  fab  and  varied  the  music  choice  was  and  Brian    and  I  have  never  seen  a  wedding  band  who  were  so  polished  and  accomplished.  Most  importantly,  the  dance  floor  was  never  empty  -  it  was  mostly  jam-packed  and  that  was  entirely  down  to  you.  We've  already  had  a  couple  of  friends  inquire  about  you  for  future    functions  and  I’ve  had    no  hesitation  in  singing  your  praises  from  the  rooftops.  It  was  such  a  lovely  touch  that  you  let  our  friend  Toby  use  your  equipment      to  do  our  first  dance  -  you've  no  idea  how  much  we  both  appreciate  that.  I'm  really  really  sorry  it  was  such  a  late  kick  off  for  you.    I've  no  idea   where  the  time  went!  All  I  do  know  is  that  you  brought  a  perfect  end  to      the  perfect  day.  Thank  you  so  much.

We were glad we stuck with our first choice and chose you guys as the feedback we received from our guests was a huge thumbs up!!  It's just a shame the night ended so sudden as a few of our friends were quite happy to carry on as you can well imagine! The playing of not only our first dance but also a 2nd really surprised us and we both really appreciated that. Well, where do we even start, slinky were phenomenal! I cannot sing their praises enough!! They were on time and set up quickly- and were so friendly! Then the music- oh the music! Was a fabulous mix and what a talent the band have, the signing, the instruments the set list! The whole place was jumping and everyone dance all night! Even the ones known for NEVER dancing were up having a boogie!! The only complaint was that it couldn't have lasted longer! I have been receiving messages all week singing their praises!! So glad we booked them worth every penny and fitted perfectly with us and ended our day perfectly!!!

We just had the band "Slinky" appear at our daughter's wedding on the 24th of Sept 2016. They were OUTSTANDING.... We were at a Hotel in Banchory and had heard of issues with the dance floor being quiet as the bars are in other rooms. Not this night...every dance the floor was maxed out, the hotel is having to have the foundations checked after Slinkys version of the Gay Gordons which had everyone in the room on the floor. Even the grandmothers were up through the bulk of the crowd was in their mid-twenties, the band managed to get the balance of music just perfect. good musicians and true troopers. You made the night just perfect
