Logistics & Setup

40 mins at the most for both set up and sound check.

I always arrive at the venue well in advance to ensure setting up and being ready for the first dance isn’t rushed, and also to give you peace of mind.

Standard performance times are usually from 8pm-midnight (with a half an hour break).

This is completely negotiable and it isn’t uncommon to alter times to suit other plans at the event.

Yes of course, start and finishing times is negotiable and can be arranged to suit your event.

Yes all high-end spec equipment is included, as well as back up equipment should anything go wrong with the main set up.

This includes full PA system (including subwoofers) and high-end stage lightening equipment.

Being a solo musician, I get my full band sound from live vocals, live electric guitar and professionally made custom backing tracks that can compete with the highest-level band sound.

On the Night

For a 4 hour set I would take a maximum of a half an hour break, usually an hour and a half in.

During the break I will put on a playlist through the PA so there’s still music playing in the background. The playlist can be requests or just a genre of music best suited to the audience in the room.

Your Music & Personalisation

I have a set list with over 100 songs so hopefully your song choices are in there somewhere!

If there’s a song you’d like played on the night, with a bit of notice, I can learn the song and make up a backing track.

Yes! With a couple of months notice I can confidently learn your special song.

Yes, more often than not I will get asked for requests at any event. Because of the length of time that I have been performing at weddings I am armed with most song requests, or something similar to avoid disappointment!

Extras & Add-ons

Yes I can play a disco set between 12am and 1am at an additional cost. ?

As well as keeping your dance floor jumping in the evening, I can also play an acoustic set during the day for a more laidback vibe during your drinks reception.

The Band

Based on feedback and reviews I would say what people love most about my performances is my versatile male lead vocals and guitar solo’s on songs such as Purple Rain!

Probably most importantly there hasn't been an event that I have played where someone hasn’t approached me and said they didn’t love the set. Which means song choice is key factor to a successful night and with years of experience, I can promise to play the right music that never disappoints.

Queen, David Bowie, The Who, The Eagles, The Beatles, Elton John, Arctic Monkeys, Oasis, Roy Orbison, Fleetwood Mac… to name a few.

Ceilidh

Yes, I can do up to 30 mins of ceilidh using a backing track and playing along with live guitar.

I'm currently working on learning to call all the dances too!
